About Me

Zoe Chu
(Grad Certificate in Counselling, Monash University)

You may ask what makes you the parenting expert? Truth be told, I am not your typical parenting expert. I believe you are the expert of your own family. In fact, I challenge the whole notion that someone outside a family could possibly be an expert about how to parent another family.

I know my clients are the experts, and my job is to guide and help them to see that too. My work offers a new perspective on children, parenting, family life and generally being a healthy and happy being. I believe when you are happy and enjoying your life, your children can witness that first hand and see you as their role model.

Some of the things I hope you will be able to learn
  • How to 'train' a baby to sleep through the night
  • There are 5 love languages you can express to your child
  • There are no right way or one way of doing things

I am passionate about making your journey of parenthood easier and more rewarding. I believe the early years are important in giving your child a strong foundation in life so that they will grow up to be happy, confident and well-behaved kids.

My dream is to inspire and empower many parents, one parent at a time building confidence, optimism and joy in their families and bringing hope to families who may be struggling with their child.

I really like the saying "When Mom is happy, everyone is happier". I believe family thrives better when mothers have love and a good support system is in place.

In 2001, I went to study in New Zealand and graduated with a Master in Commerce and Management from Lincoln University. I found my life long partner and got married and settled down in New Zealand. In 2006, I gave birth to a wonderful set of twins. I begun my parenthood journey then and in 2011, decided to migrate to Singapore to be closer to my family. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Counselling from Monash University.

Having been raised in Asia, I know first hand the traditional and cultural parenting method of the East. However after living in New Zealand for over 10 years, I have also come to appreciate the values and practicalities of parenting style of the West.
My parenting approach will blend the unique style of the East and West and empower you to do the same and to give you the wisdom of being a confident parent.
